We brought a large group to 57 Chestnut to celebrate a high school graduation. The wait staff was impeccable and the food was fresh and delicious. The hungry teenagers loved the large portions! I will definitely be returning for future spacial occasions!

Very cozy and cute spot in Beacon Hill. I had the lobster spaghetti which was a big portion and quite good. Friends I was with had the crab cakes, the salmon, the seasonal peach salad and the Bibb salad - all got excellent reviews. Our server was attentive and efficient - it certainly wasn't a rushed meal, but the service was great.

One of Bostons hidden gems! Located just off of the Boston Commons, 75 Chestnut is a go-to! Easy to walk from the Charles River Esplanade, or take the T and walk over. Parking my be difficult, as it is located in a smaller back street in a busy area - but trust me, it's worth it! We made a reservation for Sunday brunch the morning of. Quick sit-down time. I love a good Sunday brunch and they did not disappoint! Went for a classic American Breakfast with eggs and an English muffin, delicious! Chicken and waffles would probably be my go-to next time. The brunch menu had both breakfast and lunch with a variety of drinks. A pet-peeve of mine is when restaurants don't serve espresso - but 75 Chestnut had a great cappuccino. The decor was fall-themed. It's a quaint, local spot that I would highly recommend for anyone coming to visit Boston. Service is fast, reservations are easy to make. Love it!

Food: Crab Cakes ($24) - solid quality, nice that there were not any shell bits in there, roasted red pepper coulis and chipotle aioli sauce on the side was a nice combo of savory and spicy to complement the crab cakes, cucumber salad on the side was a refreshing way to complement the crab cakes as well Stuffed French Toast with raspberry preserves ($20)- pretty good, good amount of tasty raspberry preserves in there along with the mascarpone cheese, toast could've been a bit fluffier though, bacon on the side was normal but a bit too crispy for me Atmosphere: Classic American restaurant vibes with a bar area and decent amount of other table seating, pretty nice space Service: Okay service speed, pretty friendly waiter, no wait for a weekend brunch Overall: Pretty good American brunch spot, slightly on the pricier side but not bad

75 Chestnut is a friendly neighborhood establishment that you'll want to keep in your rotation of solid Boston dining options. Over the years, I've visited this charming spot a few times, most recently enjoying dinner with my wife and another couple. Dinner highlights: Truffle polenta fries (appetizer): Absolutely delicious, served with two distinct dipping sauces for added flavor. Pan-seared Atlantic Cod fillet: A perfectly cooked dish featuring fresh herbs, an abundance of accompanying vegetables such as roasted potatoes and cherry tomatoes. Nantucket seafood stew: While I didn't personally taste this dish, our dining companions mentioned it was a bit bland and could use more seasoning. Meyer lemon chicken breast: I didn't try this one either, but it received rave reviews from our friends and was devoured quickly. Desserts: Crème Brûlée Collection: A unique and amazing experience with three different flavors - chocolate, lemon, and classic custard. Highly recommended! Molten Chocolate Cake: Unfortunately, the molten chocolate center was missing, leaving us with just a very hot cake. While still tasty, it was a bit of a letdown for a chocoholic like myself. Drinks: We accompanied our meal with a bottle of Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc, which was very good. In summary, our dining experience was great overall, despite a few minor missteps (the seafood stew and the molten chocolate cake). Don't hesitate to give this Beacon Hill gem a try!
